Hi All!

Well I have been MIA lately because of feeling pretty down in the dumps with my lack of referral action going on here but then we went away for a week with family to OBX and the weather was just fabulous and well the company was just what the doctor ordered so i am feeling revived and ready for the holidays to begin.

We had a themed dinner every night and a couple of bon fires, with a dash of game night and oh the laughing was just none stop. We are truly a family that loves to entertain each other, just ask us and we all think we are just the funniest people on earth.

We decided this year we won't be putting put a christmas tree but we did decorate so we have a 5 foot singing and dancing santa and 6 foot frosty in out front window. (heehee)

I'll share photos as soon I get them loaded onto the computer.

How is everyone else making out? Did you have a nice thanksgiving?

Glad to hear you had so much fun on your trip! Where is OBX? I think I know, but you know, living in the midwest we are so sheltered...LOL!

I understand about the lack of referral action. I am SO tired of waiting. I keep trying to put all this adoption stuff out of my mind, but eventually it creeps back in and drives me CRAZY!!

Can't wait to see the pictures! (I want to put an inflatible snowglobe on our porch but DH say no way!)

You've been kinda quite lately is everything ok?

OBX is in the Outer Banks, North Carolina little island and has great beaches.

Well, I'm looking forward to seeing your pictures. We actually got our Christmas lights up outside already. That is some kind of record for us. We're usually the last one up and the last one down on our street.

We've decided to go home for the holidays. I feel torn that Cass will stay here in residential care, but I think the down time will be great for myself and Zach. We are planning to visit Disneyland and a few other places. I am looking so forward to a vacation.

Here's my update: Tommorow is the last surgury. Dh's dad isn't doing as well as expected and it's a wait and see game right now. The brain is a tricky organ. He is falling alot and having "word salad" but should be just because of the brain swelling and (hopefully) it will get better with time. It has been really hard on DH and his SM. Our christmas lights and tree are up and shopping is half done!!!!

Jenni- Happy Belated Birthday. Sorry I missed it!!! I hope you got to enjoy it.

Marian- I LOVE the picture of Avery in your siggie---it is just to funny.

Chrissy, I am so sorry to hear about your father in law. I will keep him in my thoughts. Your family has been through alot lately, I hope all calms down and you all can breathe a little sigh of relief real soon.

Here are some pictures, I didn't get as many good ones as I thought I did, we had two camera so some of the good pictures are on the other camera which is a disposible. I got a new camera and I am still getting used to it so that is why I had a back up, just in case. heehee

This is the house we stayed in

Here are is the fishing pier and ocean we saw from our windows

Here are the dogs on the beach- They loved it- we would sit out there for hours and they just walked all around chasing birds and stuff

And then here is the group who stayed in our house, there was one other group but i don't have any pictures of them because they stayed in a different house.

I have a million more but I don't want to bore you all and I have no idea how big these are going to show up. I'll save the rest for another day.

Kristine....it was actually Cass's birthday mine is in a few weeks.
