How is Jarrett doing??? Is he doing better??

Hope little Jarrett is getting better by the hour!

Still in the hospital - he is getting better but still oxygen dependent when laying down - which lets face it pretty much what 2.5 months old do - he is off his IV fluids and is slowing weight back - He went from 10lbs last Thursday down to 9lbs 6 oz on Sunday yesterday he was 9lbs 12 oz (12 hours off of fluids). Pratically the whole peds floor is RSV patients! If he could stay on Room air while sleeping we would have been discharge this afternoon with a visit to his regular ped Friday but its looking like tomorrow now

I just don't feel comfortable bringing him home on oxygen with 4 other kids that all attend either daycare or school. I don't think I will be able to give him enough attention. Plus he won't be allow to go out into public for awhile. Me being in the hospital with Jarrett is forcing my husband to not travel for work right now. If he was traveling I would be forced to at least take Jarrett while dropping and picking up the kids from daycare and/or school. Plus how would I get food to cook for everyone? I'm sure my house is a disaster.

I can't wait to get home as this connection doesn't let me see any pictures that are hosted by photo bucket. Not to mention I'm missing my other kiddos!

Sorry - I try to edit to include some missing words but apparently you only have two minutes while trying to edit - not enough time.

slowing weight back should be slowing gaining weight back

Plus he won't be allow = he = Jarrett (I have many he's in my life right now)

If he was traveling = He = DH

at least take Jarrett while dropping = at least take Jarrett along while dropping

I think those are all the corrections I was trying to make besides missing some commas - see what lack of sleep can do to a person who is already dsylexic (totally spelled wrong)

Jenn, glad to hear he is on the upswing now. I know it's a long road to recovery but it really sounds like he's doing better!

Jenn, sounds like Jarrett is slowly getting better! If I only I lived closer I would of loved to help you out, I know how hard it is to have a little one sick and then have to drop off the other kiddos at school & daycare.
