I need to buy something with a lock to put meds on my cabinets and I don't know what to buy. So I need your help please! I already bought the locks for the cabinets...and that I never taught that those would be so expensive...$20 for 4 magnetic lock...and I need it 6 packages...so over the weekend I spent $120 just on that...but I still need the box for the meds.

Another question, what kind of lock you had to use for you cabinets? because my agency doesn't let you used the push down kind and those are more affordable....so beside put in a magnetic lock in your cabinets do you have to have your meds on a box too?

Mely what we did with medications is we bought a tool box put all our meds. in there and then locked it (our agency requires all meds. double locked) then we put the tool box in our closet and keep the door locked at all times! The tool box was like $10 I think, pretty cheap.

As far as locks for our cabinets our agency didn't require we do that. The only thing they did ask was that we put can goods on the lowest cabinet possible and that all knives be keep on a top cabinet instead of a pull out drawer.

We keep all of our meds in DH's fireproof gunsafe. That seems like a crazy thing but there's a shelf for ammo that we keep meds,important papers, and my jewelry on. It works great!

We just needed to put them behind the magnetic locks but I love the toolbox idea! I hope that works well for you.
