Holy Dossier Batman!

Wow. This is going fast. Really fast. I have my dossier mostly done and I need to spend one afternoon at the government center getting our house deed and marriage certificate and then I will need to spend a day up in the Twin Cities getting our homestudy certified and everything appostiled. Then we are officially on "the list". She said referrals are coming in just a few weeks. Meaning we could be traveling THIS spring. That is soon.
GULP.
I had a "holy crap I have to get the nursery done NOW" moment last night, but was able to rationalize that it will be nice to have something to do between trips.

It is exciting, but a little surreal. We have been dissapointed so many times, so for it to be happening fast is making me nervous. Like something ALWAYS goes wrong, nervous?

Am I nuts?? Well, yes, we all know I am a little, but boy I really feel like it now.

I better get back to "supervising" my DH. He is painting a bathroom today. Will teach him never to bet against me in politics again....LOL!

They always say "at the right time" and you are sooo right. Once you get the referral and have to wait for the first travel date and then those impossible weeks in between trips you will need something to keep you buisy...like getting ready for your little man!

Are you taking the kids with on one of the travels? What a family vacation! Travel is really expensive though...

Thanks ladies. No we aren't taking the kids with us. Too expensive. We are taking a detour on the way home from trip one. Either Paris or London. I vote for Paris, Dh votes for London.

We figure, we are so close, why not!!

We will take a family vacation to Russia in about 8 years or so with all 3 kids.

Seems surreal saying ALL 3!!

I am almost done with everything, just need to get it notorized.

I can't believe things are moving so fast, spring is just around the corner you know.

Girl, I am so happy for you!!! How will you decide London or Paris? That sounds just great and well deserved either way!!!

Well...2 employment letters, a deed on the house and 2 police letters and we are done. GULP. I will have the deed and police letters tomorrow afternoon and both employment letters early next week. Then I just need to wait for our homestudy to be done and that should be no later than mid next week. Then it all gets appostilled and off to Russia it goes. AND we are on the list!

I am sure something will hold us up, but it would be great if it didn't!
