Icon7 Hi Girls!

Just wanted to see how everyones holiday was.

We had a really nice holiday, saturday we did dinner with my grandmas, 2 great aunts, a cousin and her son who is 18 months old and acts just like a little copy cat. He was too stinkin cute and great entertainment.

On Sunday we had Lu's best friend and her family over and then my grandma and cousin and son showed up. Oh my gosh it was so much fun, Lu has been friends with this girl for like 25 years we her and her family all the time so it was nice for them to finally get to meet my family and we all had a blast the kids played together and wore each other out.
We flew kites, did, cartwheels, slide down the stairs. Oh boy it was all game.

It was just perfect and so what we needed. What did you all do?

(No news on travel or pictures or anything...(pouting))

Sounds like a great time!!
Sorry I have been so scare, between dealing with crazy people on Ebatty (my new name for ebay) and sheetrocking and mudding our basement, it has been nuts.
Our Easter was fine. My cousin decided to make a GRAND announcement about he and his wife expecting even though I was sitting right there. Didn't bother me I guess, but people just don't get the loss stuff. When I kind of rolled my eyes at all the silliness of the announcement he said that it wasn't like anyone DIED, so I didn't have that much reason to be upset. I would never wish what we went through on anybody, but it sure would be nice for some people to get perspective.
Even my cousins sister scolded him for being insensitive. Oh well.

Off to keep mudding. I am on coat 3. Then comes the sanding.

K, sounds like you had a really good time! I am to hear you haven't heard anything on your travel date. Hope you hear something soon.

We had a barbecue with all my family and then had a easter egg hunt for the kids. My poor baby wasn't able to participate because she decided to take a nap right before we started the easter egg hunt but dh & Valerie did go outside and collected a few eggs for her.

Sounds like everyone had an okay holiday! We had to omit the Easter bunny at the last minute as Kirsten decided she did not want him in her house! Nomatter what! I had to warn the grandparents too that the baskets were from them and not the evil bunny! It really was a hoot! She even asked my dad to get his gun and hunt the Easter Bunny (he, my brother and DH are big into small game hunting including rabbits which are wild and plentiful around here!). I hope someday she gets over her holiday idol fear!

Oh Chrissy, That is really funny. I remember at x-mas our friends son who was 5 was very concerned about santa coming into his house.

I just love the age.

That is cute about the easter bunny. My kids don't believe in the easter bunny. They just like to hide the eggs now for the littler cousins.
