This is a discussion on Hello within the Adoption and other Options forums, part of the Trying to Conceive - Infertility category; So the weekend is over- and we are back into the grind of the week.
Saturday was so nice and ...
So the weekend is over- and we are back into the grind of the week.
Saturday was so nice and we got the cars washed and had a great sedar dinner with friends, sunday it rained and stormed all day long, we had a tornado touch down about 2 miles down the road from my house, craziness...I had no idea, i was just enjoying the one window open listening to the rain and thunder.
L slept for most of the day because of being up half the night in a full blown panic attack. This morning L woke up feeling great and smiling so that was good.
I imagine we should hear some about a referral any day now, from what I understand they are just waiting for the sign off of the assignments from the head of the province.
My director won't say for sure but she assumes we'll get a referral soon. I think they are scared of us, we seem to have like the WORST luck ever with this adoption stuff. No, I know I am exaggerating there but I do believe they are scared of us.
BWAAHHAAA!!!
Today our swing set gets delivered, I am excited but nervous...I mean what if we never get this referral or complete an actual adoption, then I have this HUMUNGO swing set in my back yard. I am just praying we are not jinxing oursleves. I will sell the house if that happens. hahaha
ok, I better go I have alot to do today so I won't be around much. see ya!

We too had a great weekend. Saterday we spent the day at my in-laws ranch. K's godmommy was home and they spent the afternoon grooming and riding K's pony. It was great to be outside and enjoy the sunshine!
Sunday we put up K's swingset at my parents house and again, spent the day outside. I'm guessing that our sunscreen is a little old, it's last years, since we both now have racoon eyes from wearing sunglasses! I took the cutest pics of K chasing her kite yesterday too, I'll try to post them today if I get a chance.
This weekend we went to a baby Expo. they were having and we got so much stuff there! I was surprised to see so many vendors there, I only wished they had allowed them to sell there products but they were good in giving samples and coupons. Here's a pic.:
I also thought I'd throw this one in of Valerie, this was on Easter and can you tell she just loves posing for the camera!
Chrissy, I love the little video, K looks and sounds so stinkin cute.
Ruby, Girl you made out like a bandit at the Baby Expo, I need to keep an eye out for any that are in my area...I want all those freebies. Valerie looks to cute, I love this age when the camera comes out and they go into celebrity mode. hahaha

I was actually looking around on the blinkies thread in the grapics area & I saw your post about Silas Minh. I just wanted to say I am so sorry & I'm thinking of you & Lu.
