Wow, another week that has just flown by! It has been so slow around here. Hope everyone is off having fun. My kids are off for spring break next week and now with me working 30 hours a week again, finding a place for them is my next priority.

I had a really long talk with my agency last night and they were able to calm our fears about Russia closing down. Apparently it is just about 10 regions, and according to my agency, they have a habit of closing down often and that is why our agency chooses not to work with most of them. So long story short, it won't affect us. Shew, good news. We were totally freaked out after what happened with Guatemala. Once I explained that to the agency, they understood why we were so freaked out. We are hearing our wait could be closer to 3 months or so, so we have 3 weeks down now and quite a few more to go.

I am having a talk with the director of my work sometime today to talk about the crap that has gone on here and what I would like my new schedule to be and to see if they can accomidate that.

Oh I am so happy they were able to put your fears to rest there. I know how hard it is when you hear programs may be shutting down, we have been in fear for months with Vietnam. And of course you have actually been through once already.

Take a big sigh of relief.

I'm sorry I have not been around much I am down here at the beach and painting, painting, painting. Next week I plan on staying home and starting the babies room. WOOHOO!!!

thank goodness your were able to gets things resolved. When we turned in our dossier in Jan we found our that the Kaz Embassy in DC had closed down in Dec and it didn't open again until beginning of this month so I understand getting upset. International adoption is so scary because thing change at the drop of a hat.
