Hi Girls,

Hope everyone had a good weekend. L and I made settlement on the house and worked our butts off all weekend putting together furniture and unpacking, shopping you name it and we did it.

I am home for the day but then I leave again tomorrow morning to go and start painting the house, it killz me to have white walls, I just love color all over the place.

But I am going to take my computer with me and hope that i can get a connection or that i have time to run over to the java byte cafe, it will be my relaxation time.

Well I think we finally finished registering for the baby showers last night, i just need to pick a diaper bag, no new pictures of the little guy but my mom-mom has started buying him little clothes and stuff so sweet. Oh and my realitor gave us the sweetest gift at closing, he bought the baby little sunglasses, surfer shorts, a surfer sun block top, bucket and shovel and a gift card to a book store. I was so excited it was just so cute and nice.

Well I better run, I have to make phone calls and stuff.

Yay for having the house bought. Wish I could have a beach house...sigh...it is SNOWING again here today.

I hate white walls as well. I have lots of color in my house too.

Do you have any potential travel dates to go get Silas yet?

No, travel dates yet. They are waiting for the other two families to accept the referrals and then we will have a travel meeting. I imagine if it is anything like our friends we won't know we are traveling until about 2 weeks before we are due to leave. AACCKKHHH!!!!

Thank goodness we don't have any snow right now, our tulips and crocouses and daffiodils are starting to bloom, I just love spring time.

Chrissy, So glad the party was a hit and so was the cake. I love, love, love the pictures. K looks like she is in all of her glory there. K is so cute!!! Thank you for sharing with us.

OMG Chrissy! She looks like just the happiest little birthday princess on the planet. That's so great.

It's cold here too girls! I think we are suppose to get a high of 52* here today. On Saturday it was 72* when DH and I went to the Cubs and Sox game and I got sunburned. (I have nuclear white skin ) We have snow on the mountains though, so that is really pretty.

The girls and I are going up to Sedona tomorrow and they should have snow on their red cliffs there too. That is just one of the prettiest things. We are spending spring break up there. My sister gave us a time-share condo and my other sister lives up there. So we are just going to go rejuvenate and come back happier and healthier people.

Wish I had a beach house though too. Wouldn't that just be terrific! What a great Realtor K.

Oh Marian, That sounds like a really nice get away. I am so happy you'll get to go and kinda rejuvinate, I think we all need that every once on a while.

Oh Mely, I wish you lived closer too...I got alot of rooms to paint. I will def post pictures when I am done. I hope to get the kitchen, living room and one bedroom done this week.

Girls I'm thinking we might need to do a board get together once I get all the beds in and stuff. That would be so fun.

It has been so funny being down there and I have alot of family down there and I swear each store we go in I end up running into someone so I feel like after living 3 hours away from everyone for so long that I am finally back home in a sense. YKWIM.

Chrissy, I was just reading your blog, I hope all the meds work for you. I think it is great you have a calmness around you right now!!! I am hear cheering you on!!!

Marian, Do I need to send you sunblock girl? You better stay covered up, I am always lathering up, I have a ton of moles and spent my first 18 years of life tan, sunburned and blisters so now I am the pale white chic on the beach hiding under the umbrella with a long sleeve shirt on. I know, I know but I have had so many moles removed already I am just paranoid now. Or maybe I'm just a big old DORK!!
