Our SW called this morning with our waiting list number. Apparently she added us in August when we first applied for our packet. I thought we weren't added until a few days ago. She told me that we are at a 12 right now but she's been really buisy lately and said that we have moved up already from 16!!!!!! They've had 4 successful matches since August and they are hoping for 3 more yet this year. She thinks our wait time will be more realistically like 1 year to start our home study and then wow.....under 2 years and we should be bringing baby home! I'm so exstatic right now.....DH and I had thought it would be more like 3 years. Here's to things moving along quickly for all of us!!!
What a wonderful surprise to hear the wait will be alot shorter then you thought it would. I can't wait until you officially start the paper chase and we can all join the madness with you...
