Dossier if Off!!

YAY! I finished our dossier in only a month!! I sent if off to our agency and our case manager went over everything and told me it all looks great! I have had nightmares that we would have to redo everything. So now they are just waiting for a few docs to be apostilled on their end on they think that Mon/Tues next week it will be sent to the translator which should take about 2 1/2 weeks. Then it's off the the Embassy in D.C which should take about 4 weeks before it's sent on to Kazakhstan!!

It just feels so awesome to have it all out of my hands and I don't have to worry about it anymore (not that I won't worry about it). I just pray that everything moves quickly and smoothly from here on out!!

When I was looking into international adoption it was between Kaz and Russia. I love that you get to go and select you little one. I can only imagine that instant connection and just knowing its your little one! Do you get to pick the region or is that pre-selected?

Do you get to pick the region or is that pre-selected?

Our agency works out of 4 different regions and I think it just depends on where there are children available on how we end up going where. I think they like to go to the region where they have placed most recently and I think that is either Kostanai or Astana? I'm not sure. I hear there is a really pissy mean guy judge in Kostanai so I'm a little scared to go there.
