...where you just wished you had stayed in bed??! I'm having just a pitiful kind of day.

It's August now and I'm starting to really dread that Lilly might be leaving us in a month or so. I can't seem to get enough of her. I hold her all night long sometimes.

We're still without a new baby. I'm starting to feel like I've been black-balled or something?! It's been weeks now. But, our worker says they just haven't had any newborn babies lately.

And then I checked the bank today and it showed that somehow DH and I have managed to totally screw up our checking account for some unknown reason.

DH is going to be having a cow

when he gets home.

Okay, I'll stop whining now. I am just so feeling sorry for myself right now.

Oh Marian!!!

I have totally had one of those days before, you just kind of sit there thinking ok, when will this day ever end because I just can't handle it anymore.

You just keep holding on to that little girl, I can only imagine how times feels like it is at a fast crawl right now, you probably feel like not enough time to get all the love out f lily but like the days are just at a stand still as you don't know anything right now.

I am still just praying for you and hoping that the courts see that just because you get a positive on your homestudy doesn't mean the aunt is the best fit. I just don't understand wanting to bring this baby home but not having any contact in the mean time. Could the aunt call or come and visit if she wanted to?

Sorry about the bank issue and I hope it can be fixed soon. I know that L and I have been known to think that the other person was going to pay a bill and then that bill doesn't get paid, or we have thought one of us would transfer funds from saving to checking and the neither of us did it...she has the cow, I fret over it, like I got busted taking a lollipop at the store or something.

Keep your chin up girl we are all pulling for you here!!!

I can only imagine what you are going through right now as the court date approaches. I am praying with everything I've got that your sweet little girl will be yours forever!!!!! Find peace in knowing you have made such an impact on this little girl's life already!

I really feel for you. There are some times, like the one you are going through with Lilly, that you can only think about today. Today you have that beautiful child and she has your love. There is nothing you can or can't do to change the outcome so just think about the "right now".
