Kristine, you caught me! Thanks for thinking of me! Today is my birthday, DH forgot AGAIN~!

Here's what's been up, just so you guys know, I've been keeping up on all of you while keeping to myself! I appologize in advance....the following is kinda depressing!

We found a facilatator who can help move along our adoption but since Wisconsin won't recognize her we still have to use an agency. This also moves the price tag up alot. She is also looking into possible toddler situations for us. That's really where we want to be!

With all the talk of moving things along, we are trying to figure out how we will afford this too. The numbers are so scary! Paying for 2 agencies and the "finder fee" just adds up you know, so I've been stressed. Also, I had my yearly "under the hood" checkup with the DR that delivered K and he thinks I lost both angels this summer because of low progesterone which the other DR never checked for! I lost 2 babies because someone overlooked a simple blood test! To make it worse, Baby 1 would be due any day now and I'm feeling a little sad. This DR recommended that I see this new RE to talk about trying iui's again but I just don't know if I can go back down that road. I'm starting to feel as though I may not be meant to parent any more children.

Sorry, this is why I've been quiet lately, I didn't want to drag anyone down with me!

To top it off, my mom's cousin is missing and it's been a week so we don't have high hopes that she will come home alive. The saddest part is that she has 4 young kiddos! Ages 7,5, and twin 3's. Her 5 year old just had his birthday this week while mom has been missing. It's just been rough!

Chrissy,

First, I am so sorry to hear about your mom's cousin, that is very scary. I will pray that you all have some answers real soon and that her children find peace and strength during this scary time.

I can totally understand the apprehension when it comes to the cost associated with adopting. L and I still struggle with it, I just don't understand why it is so expensive really. I mean these children need a family we want a family why can't it just work out or why doesn't insurance cover it. You know what I mean?

Will your insurance cover IUI's? Your heart will tell you what is best for your family just take your time and listen to it.

In the mean time you can vent over here anytime, I think we have all been down this same mode of thinking at one point or another. Infact L and I have been talking about if Vietnam closes before we bring a baby home what our next steps are and let me tell you one of the options is drastic(but legal) so I can totally understand how you just feel lost in picking the right way to go.
