Icon7 Boy Names..need your opinions

Ok girls so this latest update about boys being in the orphanage and we'll hopefully get match with one soon as L and I just spinning with excitement. So we started talking about names again which is crazy because we haven't talked names in a LONG time.

We had Jude picked out and we gave that name to the first referral but when we turned it down it was almost like the name belonged to that child and we can't use it again...YKWIM??

So I really like the name Max but I don't want it to just be Max so i thought Maddux because Maxmillan and Maximus just seem so long and as you can see I don't think I am even spelling the names correctly. But when I say Maddux do you immediately think oh that is the name of Brang*lina's kid? I don't want people to think I named my kid after hers.

What do you think? Be honest I won't get my feelings hurt, I promise.

Thanks, K

I like the name but I too instantly thought of the famous Maddox. Are there others that you like too? What about Maxwell?

Well I am totally partial to Max because I have a cutie pie of a puppy named that.
I think you name your child whatever YOU want to.

Even though I grew up with a boy named Max I totally think of a dog when I hear the name Max - dunno why, just do. But you need to name your baby the name you and Lu LOVE - and not worry about what others think . . . hardly anyone liked my choice of Jarrett and you should have seen the looks I got five years ago with the name Jadon! (stinky trash may have gotten a more positive response). I told my friends over the weekend if the possibility ever happend that I got to keep Hannah her name would be changed to Johanna - again negative responses! (I admit I have a J think - family tradition). Although, I was slightly annoyed it didn't change my opinion. So after that long winded all about me . . . I say name your child the name you guys LOVE - and don't let anyone sway your opinion.

I love the name discussion in general - if I ever get a girl (that I get to name from scratch) her names have been picked for years! I can't wait for your referral!!!!

I love Maximus...it so so powerful...as you can see I like no traditional names...that's why DD is Zoulanche.

You and Lu have all the right to pick what ever you like.....can't wait to hear the good news

Ahh!! A dogs name, Oh NO!!! We may have to go back to the drawling board on this one. Here I was worried about the Angelina *olie association now I have to worry about it being related to a whole different species.

Mely, I do like Maximus!!!

Thanks girls, i'll let you know when the next name comes up...

I know I'm late here but you could still use Max as middle name! My sister named her son Gabriel and her husband named him Max so he is Gabriel Max. Just a thought...

CHRISTINE! I can't beleive I didn't think of this before! My friends brother is named Manion (pernounced man-yon) and we called him Maxy when he was little! He loves his really cool and unique name now that he's older (17) cuz it matches his very individual personality!

Also, Christin* Agul*ra named her son Max and so did Jay low! It's a really popular name right now and one he could use his whole life!

Good luck with the name selection.....here's hoiping it won't take too long ;-)

Ohh, Chrissy, I really like that name Manion.

You know Jenn I meant to tell you in my family on my mom's side all the girls have K names and all the boys of J names and all of grandmothers sisters (5 of them) all names thier kids with a K or J begining. Isn't that funny. Now my started with that tradition but then named my sister Stephanie. hahaha

I don't know why but I love that idea.

I was going to do all "A" names because DH is Art but Lilly really didn't seem like an Addison. That was my favorite other "A" name. Although, she is kind of like an Alexis and I might have named her that, but Lillian Rose just worked for her. And it still does. So there went my "A" names!

K- I think you can name him Max if you want. Just plain ol' Max.
