any suggestions?
Yeah-we had our first in home visit done by DCFS today for foster care. They went over safety stuff. We had everything done except locking up medications. I bought the safety latches at the store for cabinets plus I have all my meds in a top cabinet. That wasn't good enough. They want all meds actually locked where you like have to get a key or code to unlock them. I think that is so absurd especially since we are only going to take younger kids. I have no idea what kind of lock box to get. We have so much medication because we have every brand of tylenol, aspirin, cold, flu, it will take a big box. Any suggestions what to lock them in?
Also, I was so excited and maybe a bit unrealistic. I thought that since we have had our home study and our safety test was today then we would pass it and they would approve us. No, now the SW for DCFS has to come and do an addendum just so they can say she laid eyes on us. Then they will come and open our home. She estimates that we will be open the first of July. Man, I was hoping it would be sooner. Oh well.
anywas, let me know if any of you all have had to do this and any suggestions.
