Another opportunity....

Am I nuts? Since our homestudy won't be ready for a week or so and we can't do ANYTHING with out that and we haven't sent in any serious (over $1000) money to our Russia agency, when someone we had been working with called and asked if she could show our profile to someone in FL I said YES. GULP.

I think I like stress. I am fine with whatever happens, but I guess my thought is that you can never have your fingers in too many pots when it comes to this. I feel kind of like I am cheating, KWIM??

Nicole~! you sure must like the stress! I think that's great! Who knows for sure where our children are from! Good luck,...when will she see the profiles and decide?

Thanks ladies.
She should have a decision by middle of next week. So a long time away. We will probably send our Russia stuff in if it comes by then.

I had a long talk with the lady from this referral service and she was less than positive about Russia and about the agency we have choosen. I guess it kind of took me off guard. I have heard nothing but good about our agency (the only bad is how expensive they are and we knew that signing up.)

On a really fun note, my DH doesn't know if he can come along on the pick up trip to help me bring the baby home from Russia, so I asked my parents and they said the didn't want to travel so I asked my Auntie and she was so excited that she started crying! My DH is hoping to come, but knows that work could keep him home since he is not required on the 3rd trip.

Nicole, I think it is wonderful you guys have had so many options and that you are actually exploring them all.

The lady who had less then postives to say about the Russia program was she with a different agency?
Did she say anything specific that makes you raise your eyebrows? If so, take those concerns right to the director of your Russian program and ask for explinations. Don't be nervous about doing that because this is your future family at stake there.

But what I really want to say is, I hope it all works out and I can't wait to here what rollercoster ride well be on next ( a trip to Florida or a trip to Russia)
