Do your agencies hold any picnics or fundraisers stuff like that? Our agency I swear holds something like once a month for all the families to get together on, it is kind of fun especially when all the families who have brought children home attend and they dress them in their countries native dress, it is so stinkin cute.

What fun things do your agencies do?

Our agency does have a potluck thingy at least every quarter. But, we have missed them all! I'm looking forward to one day actually going to meet some of the people.

We do have a once-a-month support group that I go to. That's pretty cool.

Well we use Bethany of Iowa and in Iowa there are about 5 different offices, our office does not but I do know that a couple other offices do. I wish they all would so waiting families could talk to families that already adopted and stuff.

Yes, our adoption agency has a picnic every summer. It was in August this year. Everyone brings a dish and lots of local companies donate prizes. DH and I won a free last will and testament from a local lawyer!

Its great to talk to other families who have adopted and hope to inspire the ones that are waiting
