I can't believe that this is coming so fast. We really did some shopping this weekend, so my husbands clothes are ready to go, me....not so much. I am sitting here at work waiting to train one more person then it is off to the consignment shops for me to search for stuff.

My kids are SO excited to send us off and take lots of pictures and video to bring home.

I need to work on the paperwork aspect early this week so in case I have to get stuff done I am not waiting until the last minute, although it is already feeling like the last minute.

I am finding that I need breaks from it during the day because it is truly all consuming! I might try and have dinner with a friend tonight just to not have to be doing it...ya know?

I will try to update and read this week, but if I dont, please forgive me for being a bad co-hostess......

There would have to a miracle of all miracles for him to come home on this trip. The best we can hope for is a very quick court date and we would just stay there and come back after the 10 day waiting period to get him. I would LOVE for him to come home this trip, but truthfully....I am so not prepared.

Funny story of the day.....we bought really nice travel dress pants for Aaron so that he would have something nice that would also travel well. We took them to the place we bought them at and they were going to get them shortened last week. Well, someone gave them to the wrong person and Aaron's pants are now in CA. So....off we go this afternoon to get new pants and more alterations at their expense. Needless to say when they told me this.....not so good. Never tell a Preadoptive parent you have screwed up 5 days before she leaves....LOL!

I'll check in as the days get closer.

Oh my gosh!!! Poor Aaron, I hope they get it all fixed very fast...I can only imagine how that made your head start to spin non-stop. hahaha but atleast you can laugh about it now.
