I was so shocked to find a post about the MIA's after not being on the board for over a year, it prompted me to post an update.
Last year at this time, my boss of 10 years died of a heart attack, he was an attorney and I was his only secretary so after he passed away I was at the office alone for close to 2 months finalizing things and handing out files and stuff, it was a crazy time. I was looking forward to having a little time off with the boys and then mid-may I seen an ad for an attorney looking for a secretary only 10 min away from home (I was currently driving 30+ miles) so I applied and was offered the job on the spot, it is an office very similar to my old so the transition has been smooth. I love being closer to home and having more time in the evenings with the boys.
Then in November my husband Tim, got a new job at the hospital in the same town as I work and is loving his new job as well. We feel blessed to have found such great jobs in this economy.
Reed is growing like a "Reed" as we say. He went from being such a calm, laid back baby and at one-year bam! it was like he found his voice and that he had an opinion. Never a dull moment I tell ya. It has been fun this spring watching him explore, he did not start walking til November and by then it was so cold outside and then we had a long, cold snowy winter which left us shut in most of the time. Spring is showing a whole new world to him. He wants to spend every moment he can outside. He is saying a few words but is such a stinker, he has been saying "dad" "dadda" forever and whenver I say "Mamma" he saids "Dad" "dadda", of course Tim eats it up. He is definately a Daddy's boy. He adores his big brother, even tho there are arguments in some other language over toys. Hunter loves to read to him and show him all the fun stuff he can do. I love their age difference.
Well I guess it was not a little update, I added a few pictures of us in my sig just to see my little guys again
