"A Good Wife..."
OK ladies.... as you can see from my siggy... I've only got a couple weeks before I'm officially someone's WIFE. It's crazy to me.... so grown up or something. I'm no spring chicken by any means.... but it's still weird to me. I'm really, really looking forward to it.
Now.... I want your thoughts on being a good wife. I would like you all to complete the sentence "A GOOD WIFE...." I want to see what everyone's thoughts are on this. I know everyone is different.... and I'd just like to see what everyone has to say!

Re: "A Good Wife..."
A good wife will love her husband through the good and bad times, and remember what made her fall in love with him in the first place. Don't dwell on his faults, always dwell on what about him makes you get butterflies in your stomach.

Re: "A Good Wife..."
My husband will say 'a good wife will make her husband sandwiches for work every day.' I can't tell you what I would say because I'm lacking in the wifery skills and still trying to figure it all out myself. I guess 'a good wife will keep her sense of humor even when the last thing on earth she wants to be doing is laughing.'

Re: "A Good Wife..."
Will choose her battles carefully, "whats really important" cause life is just too darn short for the stupid little stuff.
There is always give and take in everything- gotta give a little to get a little
Never goes to bed angry- always give a kiss and an I love you no matter how mad (my mom's advice)
Will always discuss and make decisions together- keep it open
Will always communicate- silent treatment doesn't work- been there done that!
Our 19th anniv. is on the 10th, and even tho its been a long time there's so many things;
Sheesh, I could tell ya lots but I might scare you off sealing the deal...lol So I'll just stick with these few basics, they kinda cover quite a bit in the long run. There's no secret to being a good wife, its just being a good person who happens to have another person that they have to think about. HTH
Can't wait to see pics!

Re: "A Good Wife..."
A good wife unconditionally loves her husband, through thick and thin, good and bad. A good wife stands becide her husband and takes pride that she is his wife.
A ood wife looks at her husband and sees everything that made her fall in love with him.. okay sometimes.. and a good wife is always there for her DH no matter what

Re: "A Good Wife..."
A Good Wife takes some time for herself.
Wow this is hard, I'm drawing blanks...hope that doesn't mean I'm a terrible wifey!

Re: "A Good Wife..."
A good wife will keep the lines of communication open at all times, will accept her husband for who he is and not try to change him or his ways, will be respectful and listen to what he has to say even if it isn't what you want to hear.
