Colds..how long did it last?

Eric has had a cold since Friday. It's the normal congestion and a little cough. I have to wipe his nose continously and he hates it!!! Either that or it's running into his mouth! GROSS!

Those babies who have had colds, how long did it last?

Jake's was about 2 weeks...it sucked. I was sick too...so it double-y sucked.

I feel for you...hope he gets better soon.

I have a mommy/baby group this afternoon. What are everyone's thoughts on taking Eric? I read on the internet they aren't contagious 4 days after they show symptoms..so he's clear of that.

He doesn't seem miserable at all, plays just like he always does...maybe a little bit more whiney than normal.

For me, it's not how long it last, but dang!! How flippin many are they gonna get?? It seems like they just get over some type of cold, cough, congestion, snot or something or other and then they get it AGAIN! Grrrrrrrr!!!

Right now they've pretty much got ALL the above...lol COME ON SPRING/SUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gracie's lasted almost 2 wks on antibiotics, mine has far surpassed that and is beating me to mush with the coughing. As to the play group, I don't know the recommended time but we visited SIL and niece and she had a slight runny nose that turned into a hose pipe that night (so SIL says) but Gracie got it 3 days later I got it 4 days later. All I know is NOBODYS kissing on Gracie ever again...lol And I'll choke SIL if she doesn't tell me about any signs of snot before I visit again. This cold has about did me in.
