Brandy question for ya

Your post about Great Wolf Lodge got me really excited...I am looking into it. We only have Eric so like you said, it's not like he's going to get a lot out of it. He loves swimming though, so I thought it still could be fun.

I was at a mommy play group yesterday and a girl there told me that both her kids got sick with vomitting and diarrhea after they got home. I guess she started asking around and found out that this has happened to alot of families..so it kinda scared me off.

Anyways, what kind of room did you have? I ask because how do I put Eric to sleep while we are still awake...I'm not sure he would sleep if we are still awake. He's been in his crib in his own room since he was 8 weeks old!

Well it depends on how much you want to spend but they have a variety of suites. I didn't even think about that issue and we originally booked a wolf den suite which has a separate kids area/bunk beds but is still your typical hotel room all in one style but they bumped us up when we got there to I think it was the Bear Suite. It was great b/c dh and I had our own room with a king size bed and a door you could close. We didn't spend much time there during the day though and she hardly slept as there's so much to see so she was so tuckered out she fell asleep easily...even at the waterpark with all that noise.lol

I don't know about the illness part...I woudl imagine there are a lot of germs there altho it is very clean. We've never had a prob and no one I know ever has either.

Just one the cleanliness thing again they do take it seriously...both times we've been there they've shut down the slides due to a "fouling" in the water below. Not sure either time what it was exactly but they won't let you near that water for an hour while they cleaned it. Pain the *** but kind of good too. One thing is they must have to use a lot of chlorine or something...it didn't smell strong at all not to me..but it did seem to irritate Claire's skin a little it was her first time in a real pool.

Thanks, I was thinking a suite with a separate room would be best...not sure if we will go, next week being march break we wanted to avoid that. Then it's Easter...maybe the end of the month..just wanted something to do to get out of the house and feel like it's summer!

Kids get sick, maybe it was just a coincidence they got sick around the time of being there. Glad to hear you say it was clean.
