Bathing
How are you bathing your babies now? We were using the big Yellow Ducky tub, however, I started bathing Aliya in the regular tub last week and she loves it. She has a little duckie that she plays with and when it gets out of her reach she tries to leap for it, so I really have to watch that she doesn't slip and her face go underwater. She seems to like to be able to move around more and loves to splash around.

Re: Bathing
We have had Draven in a tub seat for the past few months. He bathes with big brother and absolutely loves it. They splash and scream at eachother and when he wants to try and jump away...the seat has suction cups on the bottom that stick to the tub!

Re: Bathing
We use the Duckie tub too. Marley sometimes tries to climb out of it... so you have to be really careful. We'll probably move to the big tub in a few weeks.

Re: Bathing
Cam has been in the regular tub for some time now. He loves it. He tries to swim sometimes. I was thinking about getting the bath seat but he would just fuss. He loves to splash and play with his duckies and turtle.

Re: Bathing
Shaun's been in the big boy tub for a long time too. But I sit in the tub with him. He LOVES bathtime. He's got a little tugboat with different toys in it, he enjoys it

Re: Bathing
We've been using the inflatable duckie tub since Kathleen realized she could sit up, it was nice since she couldn't keep her balance too well. Now she loves to splash and likes to put her toys on the side, she's also figured out the beak quacks, and will grab for it whenever she can. I figured we'd use that until she got too big for it, which is getting close. It's probably more me getting ready for the big tub than her! lol

Re: Bathing
Duckie tub here too, Jeremiah loves it but his new trick is turning over and laying on his tummy over the edge and playing with the tub, patting it, so it won't last much longer..

Re: Bathing
We just put Brayden in the big tub with Garrett and they both love it. We have a big whirlpool tub and they use it as a swimming pool. Then I just lean over and wash them.

Re: Bathing
That Duckie tub must be a big hit with our babies cause that is what I use for the twins too.......when I'm not in a hurry to get their baths. If I'm in a hurry and just wanna get em a quick bath, then I STILL use the infant tub and yes, they still fit in it for now, but won't be long and they'll be out of it either way...lol

Re: Bathing
we're still using the duck too, but we're getting brave in it, so it looks like we'll be out of it soon. i just hate that b/c the duck tub makes it so much easier to keep the water out of his ears. oh well, we'll just have to trust the plugs.

Re: Bathing
Duckie tub here, too. Owen still fits pretty good so I don't plan on moving him out of it anytime soon.

Re: Bathing
We just moved to the big boy bath a couple days ago. I was using the bath seat with suction cups but his little legs are too fat and he'd have red marks on his legs after his bath. And it's hard to wash his bottom with him in it too...

Re: Bathing
Wow, that duckie tub is very popular!
Peri is still using the eurobath. I really like it. She is very secure but has lots of room to splash around. We have an infatable tub (not the duck though) that we'll probably take out soon.

Re: Bathing
I put Adrien in the bath tub now, but it is kind of fustrating because he splashes his feet so hard that he floats to the water spout (right word? lol) and I have it covered with a soft cover but it still makes me nervous because his head is right at it. He also wants to stand in the tub and that is another thing that makes me a nervous wreck lol

Re: Bathing
We've been in the big tub for months now. As soon as she could sit up and even a bit before that. I used to lay her down on one of those foam things. Now she actually sits on it so that she doesn't slip and slide around, but she's getting braver and braver by the day. Some days though... it's all about the shower! LOL Quick and easy. We just throw her in with whoever's in at that moment. Takes some of the fun away from her, but she's finding entertainment in the "rain" now too! LOL We sing "Singin in the Rain" and blow raspberries into the stream of water! LOL

Re: Bathing
I might be the only one but we are still in the kitchen sink. She will soon be moved to the big tub cuz she is splashing so much it's just a big mess in the kitchen. Plus I think she will like the bigger area to move around in.
I've thought about taking her in the shower with me, but I wouldn't be able to do it. My shower water has to be pretty much scalding hot for me, so that wouldn't work for her. I hate cold showers.

Ollie is in the big tub now and he loves it. Every once in awhile I will give him a bath in the kitchen sink but I always end up getting soaking wet that way lol!
