Oh Sarah, I am so sorry that you are going through this. I know that you are smart, strong woman, so I know that you are making the right decision for you and those beautiful boys! It's not going to be easy, but you will persevere. I know how much of a mama bear you are when it comes to your babies, so you'll do what's best for them.

I, too, remember your stories about the lack of help from Jeff and his selfishness about sleeping so much. A girl can only take so much when someone is unwilling to change their ways. If he can't shape up when he has babies in the house that need his attention, he will never change. Hopefully this wake-up call will encourage him to use the time he has with the boys wisely.

I agree with Allie about the custody arrangement though. I don't think it's going to work too well if you shift them back and forth every two days. The constant upheaval will not be good for them. And I hope to God that Jeff does not introduce anyone into their lives right as this adjustment is going on. That's a recipe for emotional turmoil for them. Oy!
