wow, this is interesting!

I've moved a lot - mostly for school - for undergrad college, I moved from Atlanta to Asheville, NC. I lived there for 7 years (where DH & I met), then we moved out to Cali for me to attend grad school. After I finished school, DH started flight school and I got my MFT license. We were in the bay area for about 9 years and now we've recently moved to Long Beach, CA.

I've posted about our move saga in other posts - but in a nutshell, it's for DH's job. He's a pilot and was assigned to LAX as his base. We thought we were going to Houston - which would have been a lot cheaper - but now that we're here, we're really happy about it. I like CA and I got a good job here. I think we're going to like Long Beach too.

If only I could finish unpacking & get settled!

The Air Force made us.
We live in Illinois, about 20 minutes from St Louis, MO. We have been here for 5 years and are SO ready to move. We are putting our house up for sale and as soon as it sells we are putting in for orders out of here if we haven't been given orders before then.

We moved to Vegas 9 years ago because the cost of living here was much more affordable than where we were living in So Cal. We both also had job offers making more money than in CA. We also moved here because of the warm/hot climate. I like all of the surrounding mountain views, lots of parks, Lake Mead, lots of good shows to see here and we have a ski resort close by.

Newport Beach, CA

We live in the same town that I grew up in. DH had moved a lot and this is where we met. We moved to So Ca for college and then we decided to get married. We moved back to the bay area because of family and jobs. With his job now we could move but we love our house and the area. If we did move it would be now, before the kids are in school.
