is it just me or are they unusually complicated to use?? I switched the carseats in our truck today and I thought it would only take a few minutes, but it took me just under 2hrs and I still have to go try to get anthony's seat in there better! I dont understand. I have the clips clipped on the hooks right, they're not twisted or anything.. I am not confused as to how to use them.. it's just no matter how hard I pull the strap tight, the seats still dont seem as secure as they should be. i mean, they are not loose by any means, but I'm picturing they should be rock solid with LATCH? you would think, right?
alyssa's is finally in there (evenflo we had from anthony, we just switched it rear facing for her).. it seems like it's okay after tugging and adjusting the straps FOREVER. anthony's still seems funky. it's a huge pita to try to get the top tether clipped in and tightened since it clips
behind the seat (since it's a pickup truck) and i think some of the problem is that the seats arent angled like in regular cars so it doesnt sit quite like it should. its in there now with the top tether and the seatbelt and it's much more secure than it was with latch. I dont get it!
my car doesnt have latch clips to compare it to, but i think the truck is just a pita for carseats. people wonder why i refuse to take the carseats out of my car.. because i'm anal about how secure they are in there and it takes me about 20min to get a carseat in the car to my satisfaction! lol my safeseat base goes in the car like a dream, but that's the only easy one i've ever had. are the pricier carseats any easier to install??
maybe it's me.. i think im having a rough week and am frustrated lol (did i tell you guys someone BACKED into my car when i was driving to work last week?!?!

) *sigh*
