anyone?? surely there has to be at least ONE other june kiddo who isn't walking yet, right?!
alyssa's not! she seems to be fighting it for some reason! i dont get it. she could stand almost on her own when she was just a few mos old, and now she'll pull herself to standing and she stands a LOT, but she will NOT cruise or take steps.. even holding your hands. I'm sure she
can do it, or could if she tried, but she'll stand there looking at something across the room like she wants to walk to it, but then drops to the floor and crawls over there in a half an instant!
anyway, I am not worried. I'm sure she's fine. anthony didnt walk til around 14mos (of course he was a BIG kid lol) - my worry is that she wont be walking in time for my best friend's wedding!!! Alyssa is the flower girl!!! lol she's gonna look sooo friggin cute in her little dress with anthony as the little ring bearer (IF - and big IF - she doesnt spaz and flip out when she sees all the people lol.. i'm trying to come up with a way maybe they can walk down the aisle together? do they go BEFORE or AFTER the moh?? i havent a clue! but i dont see alyssa EVER walking anywhere on her own or walking AWAY from me lol)
anywho.. i'm sure she'll get it, but she's bound to be walking before october 4th, right?!?! i soooo do NOT want to tell my bff that she wont be walking (or wont walk) and have to figure out some way for anthony to pull her in a wagon (though it's a thought) - my friend is being a pita about some things with the wedding, and needs it all to be perfect. i'm already a little nervous with the kids being there (my kids are a little spazzy, esp alyssa, but only if i'm not holding her lol)... but yeah, anyway, i just dont want to have to tell her we need to figure out how to transport alyssa down the aisle lol
i dont want to take her out of the wedding though - i'm ordering her dress on monday (took forever to find something! you know they dont really make many flower girl dresses smaller than 2t!
) - and i think it's so perfect having them BOTH in their wedding. Irene and paul are my kids' godparents and were so wonderful to me, but esp when i was pg with alyssa and having all the problems. so this is special to me too, you know? lol and i just have to get the kids through pics and the ceremony, they are headed home with my il's after the ceremony... while dh and i get to actually spend a whole night out and stay overnight in a hotel!
(i havent been away from alyssa for even 1 night since she was born.. no one will watch her usually)
anyway, i am rambling... someone please tell me she'll be walking before October 4th!!! lol otherwise, please post ideas for decorating a wagon LOL
