Hi all...I'm pretty sure no one here knows who I am but I am hoping you will be able to help me.

My MIL just called me because she is watching DD and is concerned that for the second time this week, my dd didn't want my MIL to wash her private parts. She then added that she hopes no one is "roughing her up" at the babysitter.

Can anyone tell me whether or not it is normal for toddlers to not want to have their private parts washed (or touched)? I am hoping this is some sort of developmental stage. Any input? I really would appreciate it.
