Brady had his appt today and all was perfect. He's still wheezing a bit from the pneumonia 2 weeks ago - we are to continue the neb txts and finish the antibiotics. Hopefully this will do it. The dr. was more worried about my breathing *LOL* I'll get checked again I told him.

Brady sure has made up for all the worry he gave us at the beginning of not gaining weight. He was in the 5th percentile. Now he's in the 75-90th *LOL*

Arlo had his checkup this morning, and is doing great! He seems to be pretty averaged size:

19 lb. 3 oz
28 inches
17 3/4 head circumference

Scarlett had her 9 month check on Tuesday....she's a big girl. Off the chart in height.

weighs 22.04 oz
and 29 3/4 inches long!
not sure her head circ. but I remember the doc saying it was good size and in proportion to her size.

He had been in the 20th %tile the whole time, now
he's in the 50th!
Gained 4 lbs. in 3 months!

Jackson had his 9 month appt. last Tuesday (the 5th). Everything was great!!
Weight: 23 lb 4 oz
Height: 27 1/2 in.
Head: 18 1/2 in.

Nathan was 21 lbs and 30 inches long at his 9 month appt. I was told he was in the 60% for both height and weight... which is weird if Scarlet is about the same size (1/4 inch shorter) and is off the charts. I think my doctor didnt read the chart right or something...

I think they use a different chart for boys and girls, but not sure on that. That might be the reason. Also, I know my dr. doesn't read the chart accurately b/c when I look in the baby book we have or the one online it is always lower. I think the charts are just really hard to read sometimes! If you're off where you're looking even a little bit, it could mean a 10% difference.

The weight is low because she had her appointment 3 weeks late and 2 days after being sick. she is slill losing weight

her gums wer infected due to 4 teeth coming in at the same time and ripped her gums + being sick and keeping her mouth opened when sleeping which caused the driyness of her gums and split lip. She was prescribed antibiotics to clear the infection of the gums but it geve her the diaria so we are fighting it right now. i think she lost someweight sinse her appointment last monday do to all af the above, pluss not being eager to eat much because her gums were hurting. sorry this is so long.

Miles was 17lbs 6 oz and 26 inches. I think he just had another growth spurt though. He is looking bigger these days.

Santiago had his 9 month appointment today and was 20 lbs 5 oz, measures 28 inches, and his head was 17 1/2...

Adam had his appt on Monday and he is growing great but we found out that he has a ear infection in both ears

Weve been battling Influenza at our house for the past three weeks. We took Gabe and Adam both to the doctors on Feb 2nd. Gabe had an ear infection in both ears then but the doctor said Adams ears looked okay. So they must of got infections within the last week. Poor thing.

He weighed 24lbs 2 oz.
Length was 30 3/4 inches
and head was 46 1/2 cm

He is a huge baby. Just like Gabe was and still is. Gabe is 4 (will be 5 in May) and he is 4ft 3in and 57lbs the last time we checked.

Adam didnt get his shots because of the ears so we have to make an appt in 3 weeks to get his ears checked again. If they are okay at that appt, then we will make another appt after that to get his shots.

21 lbs
29.5 inches
18.5 inches head circ...he has a big head compared to the charts.
No shots at this appointment but will get a round at the 12mth.

Girls and boys do have different growth chart/percentages. Also, depending on your doctor and how often they update their base charts makes a difference on the percentages.
