Default I think I'm over feeding him

For the last 3-4 weeks Zach sometimes throws up during his last bottle of the night, around 8:00. He gags on the first spurt of liquid that comes racing out, and it's all over. Last night was hilarious. I have him sleep in those Halo sleep sacks. He gags on the nip, even though I let him take it. he pukes all over himself. Off to change. New PJ's, but his only other sleep sack is in the sink from the night before soaking from the night before's puke episode. Ok, wash it out int he sink, throw it int he dryer......why oh why does everything take FOREVER when you want it to be fast and vice versa?? I even tried using my hairdryer, thinking it would dry faster. Grrrr. As this is going on, I can hear the clock tick, tick, tick.
8:30
8:45
almost 9:00 and I finally get him dressed ready for bed.
Then I smell poop.
I swear, it was a comedy of errors.
ANYWAY..... I digress.
This is my basic day:
7:15 wake up, bottle (7-8 oz)
9:30 4-5 oz of fruit
10:00 nap
12:00 wake up, bottle (7-8 oz)
2:30 finger foods
3:00 nap
5:00 wake up, bottle (7-8 oz)
6:45 4-5 oz veggies/meat
8:00 bottle (7-8 oz), bedtime
So that's about 28-32 oz od formula, plus all the solids.
My gf recommended I cut out th 5:00 bottle.
I did that tonight and no pukage.
Instead of the 5:00 bottle I gave him 2-3 oz of veggies.

Any other suggestions? Have I been giving too much? When I type it out it DOES look like a lot.....
what are your days like?
How much formula?
How many times and ounces of solids?
He has been gaining weight, and he's not anemic so those aren't issues. Actually, he's really chunked up in the last 4 months considerably.
Oh, and he never cries or fusses because he's hungry. I guess I've been too preemptive about the feedings?? SHould I let him give me hungry cues at this age?
TIA
Signed,
FTM
