I guess I fit into the catagory of OTHER as I have 2 children VERY far apart... so I call them my 2 ONLY'S.. they are 14 yrs apart Zach is going to be 18 in April and Madison just turned 4 this past December.
I also lost 2 babies back to back (6/01 & 1/02) due to secondary infertility.
Getting pg didn't seem to be a big issue but keeping the babies in there was, so I had to take progesterone to keep Madison in there.
Girls,I have to tell you something you already know, having an ONLY is a whole another world in itself.
and there are some advantages!
My first ONLY my son, Zach who was an ONLY until he was 14yrs old... So I know all to well what you are going through or trials you are facing.
I always wanted another child but due to divorce I didn't even consider it till getting remarried 3/17/00. Now that I am learning how to parent an adult child... which is another story LOL, it is so hard letting go... it is one of the hardest things I have found to do since he was my ONLY for what seemed like forever.
I guess in some ways God is still working with me on this.
What is helping me is having Madison to keep me busy.
She is a joy and my long waited 2nd blessing.
Of course I am blessed with my DH who is a huge blessing!
