Yea, but being a only child my whole life, I think she will get over it and love her little bother or sister. My dh was 5 when his mom had his bother Shane, then when Nick was 7 his littlest bother Blake was born. He does not do good with changes but he made it. I woud worry if about it when the baby is born. You can handle it. Your a mommy. You can handle anything thown at you! . Good luck sweetie.

I wouldn't worry about dividing your time and how it will effect Kirsten too much. I have thought and worried about it throughout my pregnancy. I waited till 12 weeks to tell Ashley because I was worried about a miscarriage and having to explain that. Anyways from the time I told her she has been so excited. It really does take a lot of the worrying away.
I know what you mean by being devoted to one being so great and that will be a big change. After I have this one I will let you know how it goes, what to do and not to do. If you want. It will also be helpful that she is a little older, it should make things much easier.
If you are like me you will spend a lot of time going back and forth between being excited and then wondering "OMG what have I done." Right now I am finally at peace and very excited, not to say that I won't feel the other way soon. LOL
Just take it easy and enjoy this pregnancy.

I guess it is time for an update huh? We are reaching the end of the 1st tri and Kirsten is sooooo excited about it all. She helps with anything baby and really helped us paint the nursary. I'm putting her handprints on the wall in one spot so I can remeber just how big my little girl is! She came up with her own rendition of how the baby got in my belly and is comming with to my appt this week so she can hear the heartbeat for the 1st time since DH can't come. Kirsten says that when a mommy and daddy are really good and really love each other then God will put a baby in the mommy's belly. Seriously! All on her own! Day school must be paying off!

On the other hand, I miss you ladies a ton, not much goes on here lately but I try to check in at least once a week to see how my gals all are! Luv ya!
