Icon7 Happy Mother's Day!

I know the day is almost over, but I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Mother's Day. I hope that it went well.
DH worked today so I just stayed home with Ashley and did some laundry. LOL It was a normal day for me, except that Ashley kept making me mother's day cards. She drew a picture of her and me on one card. I was pretty impressed. I had fingers and toes, and a big belly button.

Thanks Dawn. Happy Mother's Day back at you!

My day was pleasant, but like yours, pretty much like any other Sunday. All those years struggling to become a mother I had an unrealistic idea of what Mother's Day would be like - guess I should just hang on to the fact that finally I AM A MOTHER! That should be reward enough.... although I sure would have liked a lie-in in the morning LOL.

How sweet of Ashley to make you lots of cards. Clever to get that big belly button in. Mason isn't too keen to sit and draw. I keep waiting for a cute stick figure pic, so I can frame it and hang it on the wall. So far he is too impatient to sit and draw, and if I ask him to, he usually just scribbles over the page in one dark color. Too funny how their minds work!

Sorry I'm late! We had a nice day, my dad made dinner for us all and that was a nice treat. Kirsten made me a neclace at school.

Funny how we have grand dreams of what mother's day will be before we have children only to find out it's really just anouther day of the year afterwords!
