Icon10 Happy Easter

Happy Easter everyone! So what is everyone doing for Easter. We aren't doing anything. dh's Mom is sick so we are staying home and I am making cornish game hens and stuffing. We colored Easter eggs today, Ashley thought that was fun. She is looking forward to tomorrow and seeing what the Easter Bunny brings.

We spent Easter running around to the reletives and we are plain worn out today! Kirsten had a not so great run in with an Easter Bunny on Thursday and now has decided that he can't come to our house so no Easter treats here! She did however get baskets at her grandpartents houses so I guess that makes up for it huh?!

I'm tired of family get togethers, is that evil of me? It's been two weekends in a row and we have anouther one on Saterday this week!

Thanks.

and a belated Happy Easter to you both!

Thankfully we don't have those big-dress-up kind of Easter Bunny here in Australia, otherwise Mason, I know, would be even more scared of letting him in the house! Luckily the tradition here is for EBunny to leave the (chocolate)eggs in the garden, no easter baskets or anything else is delivered!

I can understand how you are feeling Chrissy, sounds to me like you need some 'alone with your own little family' time! It does get tireing doing all that big family stuff (and the driving!).

Dawn your Easter food sounds yummy, wish you were cooking for us too! Next year I am going to decorate eggs with Mason (if he will sit still for long enough!). It's not an Aussie thing to do, but now I've found out how to from these boards, I will be trying it for sure next Easter!
