I take wheatgrass (though I've changed to capsules because the juice is just...not so good). Actually, it doesn't taste AWFUL, just not so good. It's like drinking your freshly mown lawn. Anyway, I'm convinced that wheatgrass is what improved my FSH levels. It's like one of the 'super foods' and it definitely can't hurt.

I've not found too much on it except in books like "Inconceivable" or "The Infertility Cure" recommending we drink it. What brought it to your attention?

Thanks Dee. I have been just doing some research on natural vitamins and found it. And then read that it is given to cows to restore their fertility. ANd I knew you would know about it.

What capsules do you take ?

I just bought some wheatgrass powder today, but I'm not sure how much to use. I had read somewhere that you should take 1 1/4 teaspoon in 16 ounces of water or juice each day, but does anyone know for sure.

I was going to buy frozen blocks of wheat grass juice, but it was $14 for 10 servings! The powder wheatgrass was $24/pound at Wild Harvest market, but that will go a lot farther if I only have to use 1 1/4 teaspoon each day.

Does anyone know how much you need in order to get the benefits?
Thanks,
Andrea

Deelylah,

I bought my shots from my herbalist but, as Andrea pointed out, it got to be quite expensive so instead we started doing the powder (bought it at either GNC or the Vitamin Shoppe, I can't remember which). But then DH decided that he would buy me a juicer and he's been growing me some ever since.
