Default Vitex Side effects

I have had pain off and on today, on my left side, close to where your overies are, and it seems to be getting worse. I've only been on the Vitex for 10 days, and I am scared that something is wrong. Is it a side effect from Vitex.

MAybe it is just something totally different. But I feel I need to know. I am also taking Red Rasberry Leaf, but from what I hear the Vitex is what effects your hormonies, and if it is one of them I'd think it would be that one.

I did call my health food store but they don't seem to know anything about any pain that you can take using it. The only suggestion they said was maybe hold off taking it for awhile. But I feel I'd like to know for sure if it is possible that it can be the Vitex, or is something else majorly wrong.

Any help would be appriciated. Thanks

Jodi,

Vitex affects your progesterone production (increases it). It actually does this by causing the hypothalmus to increase LH. LH, as you already know, is what causes your eggs to pop. Sweetie, I think what you are feeling is an "earlier than normal" ovulation. I believe what you are feeling is mittelschmerz (O pain). And that's a very good thing!!

Here again with another question.

You are going to get sick of me soon!

Ever since 3DPO I have had nausia, and gagging like crazy. I never had this before. It's not the flu because I still can eat and I do not have a feaver which I always get with the flu.
But I don't want to think it is sxs because it's to early for that, especially at 3DPO, and I am not feeling anything else either that would make me think I was pg. My breast don't even hurt.

Can Vitex or Red Rasberry give you nausia. It's just weird that it would show up at this time.

I take my Vitex with milk or something to eat because it does make me a little bit nauseous.

How are you doing? I have never taken Red Raspberry before. What does it do for you?

Wow! That is so great! How exciting for you! I think it is wonderful that you are finally O'ing again! Good luck on ttc!

I don't know about the vitex or red raspberry and nausea, so I hope someone else can help you.
