Hi all,

Help! I started taking Vitex a couple of months ago and this month my system is going nuts. I could almost swear I ovulated around cd8, I had fertile cm until cd10 too. Has anyone had similar symtoms with Vitex??

Hi there! Remember that herbs can be just as strong as medicine. I took Vitex all cycle one month and it messed me up. I found that my body needs it from AF to O. Then I stop taking it. Try to figure out if you need it all month, after AF or before like me! Good luck! Sometimes you just have to test to see what works best for you. Are you charting your temps?

Hi,

Yes I use FF, I finally got the link to work. The recipes I found one had taking 4 vitex a day from af to o, the other says to take 2 a day all cy except for the first 5 days. Next cy (hopefully it doesn't happen, but) I will start my new monitor.

Well my cy did start and I am using the monitor. It has been an interesting first month . From what I am understanding the monitor takes a couple of months to be able to chart my system. The vitex has made a difference in my system though. I have all the old aches and pains from af and o time that I had when I was 20 and 30. ;( I hope that means it is helping with o.
