Just curious if any one has considered Surrogacy as a possible alternative as a way to create your family or add to it.???

I havn't thought about surrogacy for myself because I don't have infertility issues, but I have thought about donating my eggs to someone who wasn't producing any.

I've never thought about HAVING a surrogate, but have wanted to be one for 5 yrs, but didnt know where to get the information on it. I'm hoping to have my second (and last) child when my son is between the age of 18-24mo, and then looking into being a surrogate. I would be one sooner than that but my 'ideal' is to have my children closer together than being a surrogate now would allow so Im putting that off until I've had my second. I would LOVE to have more information on being a surrogate such as which you think is better, TS vs GS and company vs self. I already know that when I do become a surrogate that its going to be GS, just because I could never give up a child if it was mine biologicly, whereas helping someone acheive their dreams of being a parent to their child is different. My sister and her dh have been trying for 7yrs only to find out 5 mo ago that she had endo, and my cousin and his dw have been trying for 5 yrs and keep m/c's; neither are up to the idea of surrogacy though, so I'd have to find another loving couple to help out.
