Maca root how much to take??

I was just wondering how much maca to take everyday? I really can't seem to get a good answer. Anyone with any experiance?

I take Maca while on break ttc, when we're trying au naturale, and not on fertility drugs. I take 3 per day usually.They are 1000 mg. I get my Maca for Life from Amazing Botanicals on Ebay. I haven't gotten pg while using this, (yet) but it did immediately return my cycles (I had lost alot of weight and AF went MIA) which are very irregular. I wanted to keep them regulated while on break, so that when we started again, I could start meds right away. In fact, we lost a baby in Jan, so I just started taking the Maca again this weekend to bring on AF after my d & c.

Also, there is not really a set amount you have to take from what I know, but you know you're taking too much if your breasts get tender. I read that is the only side effect. Just decrease the amount and you're good!
