Default Maca Help

Okay, I am doing some research on Maca root and wanted to see if it helps if your husband takes maca root too? I am definetly going to try it in my next cycle, but I just wondered if it would help if my husband took it too. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks so much!

Blessings,
KRisten

I don't think it's going to hurt anything. I think I read it's supposed to help increase the libido in men, so it's probably going to help!

LOL! Great, just what he needs! Well, we both began taking it yesterday with this new cycle. So, I guess we will see how it goes.

Thanks,
Kristen

Newbie here,
I have just started taking Maca myself, to balance hormones, and
from the infertility section of http://ahealthya.com/MFinfertility.htm -

Maca has been known to increase a women's ability to conceive rather dramatically. This happens because of MACA's ability to promote the production of the Luteneinizing Hormone (LH). The LH causes ovulation.

MACA has also been shown to increase sperm counts in men.

and since it helps with libido, its supposedly GREAT for both men & women.

The website mentions that it helps Peruvian women stay fertile later in life. (Its a staple food in Peru)

anyone know if it helps eggs of older (40ish) women get more fertile?

Wow, thanks so much for the help. My husband and I both took it this cycle. Needless to say it has changed my cycle dramatically. You can tell by just looking at my chart. I am very hopeful with this cycle. I guess we will see if maca helped us this cycle. I will keep taking it until I get a BFP!!!!!!!!! I think I will start testing on Friday! Thanks again!

Blessings,
Kristen
