Icon4 Looking for help and progesterone Q!

This board is so informative and all you ladies seem so knowledgeable, so I hope that someone can help me with my problem.

I saw my OB yesterday and it seems that I may have low progesterone levels in my body. As a result, my cycles are getting longer and I am O'ing later.

It also makes me loose months in between compared to ladies who have 28 to 30 day cycles.

Does anyone have any idea whether maca or vitex helps with this problem?
Also, is it advisable to use OTC progesterone creams after I ovulate tomake my cycles shorter?

Thanks in advance.

I highly recommend you read the book "What your doctor may not have told you about menopause" by Dr. John Lee. It is soooooo informative and recommends if you do use progesterone to use natural progesterone.

I will read that book.
Although I am sooo far from menopause, I guess it could still be useful?

Thanks.

I am also far from menopause and found this book fascinatig. It is really about using natural progesterone and all it's benefits. Don't let the title fool you (should have mentioned that in the first place duh) it is really quite eye opening.
