Default IVF and Herbs...

My whole family goes to a chiropractor who is holistic and prescribes herbs often along with adjustments. I have seen great success in everything he's done (especially for my 8 year old!), but we are doing a natural cycle FET in August or Sept. and for some reason, I just don't have peace about using herbs in preparation for my cycle or during the month of transfer. Does anyone have any input on this at all? Thanks, Sandra
ps: I believe the sort of herbs he would be putting me on would be ones to regulate my estrogen/progesterone balance, but am not certain.

Can't give ya much input as I have not went down the road of IVF. I'll be going down the road of herbs here very soon. My last 2 periods have been basically nothing and the clomid I had been on for 6 cycles have dried me up. I be real interested to see the herb combination my doc will have me on. She was very positive about getting my CM back and my period back.

Good LucK...

everything that i have found says that you should stop using herbs once you have ovulated or have found out that you are pregnant. again to truely know if it is safe i would need to know what herbs you will be taken ( if you decided to do so).

but to be 100% safe talk to your doc that is doing the ivf before starting/stopping meds/herbs.

it is safe to drink some herbal teas. and i would sujest a good massage or accupuncture (sp) session.

all the best of luck to you!
