Hi Maca question (new here!)

Hi! I just found this board and have found it quite interesting.

A little about me..we ttc'd for 17 mths for my dd...nope. Use 50mg of clomid and got pg first try. My ob thought that pg'cy might work out my problem so we ttc'd for 8mths after her...nothing. First try of clomid, conceived our son. So I seem to respond very well to Clomid. (in between there I got pregnant using Soy Protein Isolate...I was reading that when taken on certain days it can mimic Clomid in your body..well I did conceive first try but miscarried). ANyway...reading on this board I've found some info very interesting! If I respond well to Clomid...could Maca Root have the same effect?

I had 5 rounds of Clomid and 4 of Femara... My very first Clomid round... I got pregnant, but M/C. The other 8 rounds of meds did nothing. I did produce more eggs... the most being 4, but I never got pregnant.

Last cycle was my first on Maca, only taking one a day... I did not get pregnant (bad timing)... but my period was very heavy. My OB said that I built up quite a lining... and my never normal cycle was actually a mere 34 days. I started a new plan for this cycle... Metformin (just found out that I am insulin resistant) Maca Root, HGH3 (human growth hormone from HiHealth) and Evening Primrose Oil. I have heard good things abt Maca, I just don't know if it is the same things that Clomid would do.
