I've been ttc for 3 1/2 years, with 1 1/2 on clomid. I took a 3 month break, and I'm going to jump on the ttc wagon again. I come across this herb thats suppose to help. I was just wondering if anyone had success with it, or vitex, thanks

Hello Misty! Actually this was my first month on it! So far I feel great. I am currently at 9 dpo. I am going to test on Sunday if my temps are still good. I have been taking True Unicorn root with other herbs from AF to O but I take the False from O to AF along with prenatal vitamins. I am not taking the vitex past O because I have just read too much contradicting information. It can cause uterine contractions and I just didn't want to go down that path right now. I am taking it AF to O. Let me know if you have any other questions...How did you find out about it? What other alternatives are you doing? Good Luck and to you!!!!

This is my first month on it also, but I'm at cd 7. My whole problem is O, so I'm taking the false unicorn root to help w/that, and I come across vitex, and I'm taking 3 caps 3x's a day, It read on the bottle that it could be taken the whole cycle, should I stop at O, that is if I O?! I went and bought a clearblue easy fertility monitor, and have yet to see a peak. At about 50-60 bucks for tests for it it's getting expensive.I've also used answer brand, ovulation tests w/no luck also. My whole wish is that these herbs help me ovulate.Good Luck to you. I also take evening primrose oil from af to O, I've noticed a big increase in cm by taking it.

Morning Misty! It sounds like what you are doing is great. Keep doing this for 2 months and see what happens with your O. Are you charting your temps? If you are not, then I highly recommend that you do. My O started at day 19 and this month was day 14. I have to contribute it to all the herbs that I was taking. But I wasn't able to figure out what was going on with my body until I looked at my temp chart. Also it is amazing that if you chart you really don't need all the O detectors. I bought the Clear Blue Easy O sticks. It think it was like $18 for 7. I would just watch my temps and when I could see me getting close to O I would do an OPK just to confirm the surge. Some months I didn't even do it. Of course with taking the herbs it will change your cycle, so you really have to watch it. EPO is great for CM. I loved it! For my first 3 months I took the vitex and true unicorn everyday but now I am taking the vitex and true unicorn from AF to O and then from O on I am taking the false unicorn. I had not tried the false until this month and told I am 12dpo and it is looking good. My temps shot to 98.4 and usually I start dropping for AF on 10dpo. I just thought I'd say, for the first time in 5 months, I finally saw a peak on my monitor!!!! I fell over when it went to peak. I'm not sure if it's the vitex or false unicorn root, but I know it's one or the other. So thank you Vitex and FUR!!!

Congratulations Misty! Any improvement is in the right direction. Well for my experience last month on the FUR....I had a 14 lh phase. I have never been that long! I was so excited because before I was 11 or 12 days and then the evil would come. Good luck to you girl and keep me updated!!! Take care and lots of to you!
