I just bought some online. I'll get it next week. I've read that it'll help balance my hormone issues (I'm a non ovulator/no period getter).

Is anybody else using this product?

I have been lurking on the IVF board and wanted to say how sad I was when you posted about your chemical pg. I'm glad that you're giving alternative treatment a try.

I too am a non ovulator (misdiagnosed with PCOS then diagnosed with hypothalamic amenorrhea). I tried FB for 1 month and it didn't work for me (though I am sure it didn't hurt!). I am now trying acupuncture for 16 weeks, which is supposed to help with ovulation problems. My acupuncturist has no prescribed any herbs yet, though she has prescribed Omega-3 and a more potent prenatal vitamin. So far, no O yet, but I've only had two treatments. I see you've done quite a bit of AC with your IVF, have you tried it for ovulation alone?

Erica,

FB is a great herbal combo but whether it will help will depend on what your problem is. It is going to affect your thyroid and turn the balance in favor or progesterone. If you are low on the p4, then it's a good thing. If however, you are weak in the estrogen department, it could actually cause other issues.

Also, NEVER take FB in conjunction with clomid. The two will cancel each other out. FB actually acts quite a bit like clomid.

Catherine makes a good point about checking with your acupuncturist. Or see an herbalist and see what they have to say. And you already know about the Infertility Cure book that is my bible. That's another good source for information.
