I know this is briefly mentioned in Infertility Cure, but Castor Oil packs applied on the pelvic area with a hot water bottle are supposed to draw out ovarian/uterine toxins related to excess hormones, endo, fibroids, etc.

I experimented a little after my surgery for fibroid, but could not place it directly on the incision site.

Now that I'm totally healed incision-wise, I'm going to start in on it as soon as my period starts to let up.

I just got that book and I'm starting it either later tonight or tomorrow. It seems to be wriiten by a very knowledgable woman, who was an ob/gyn but turned to do more eastern med then western med. I think it may be a good idea. If its a heat pack applied topically, I don't see where it can hurt.
