Icon5 Bayberry and Maca

Last month I had a cycle that lasted from 3/7/6 til 4/5 or 4/6 (I forgot since I was so tired of having it). I spotted for a whole week and then I started with heavy bleeding and it never lightened up. I had cramps and the whole nine yards. I went to the dr around the 3rd week and he told me I had an anonovulatory cycle (I didn't ovulate) and the heavy bleeding was part of the process. He prescribed provera, which was suppose to stop the bleeding, but it didn't work. I ended up going to the health store and the herbalist told me about 'bayberry', which I took and the bleeding stopped two days later.
I took it for several more days and then I stopped taking it.

I recently started taking maca root and my cycle (i assume) came full force yesterday. I am taking maca root in hopes that whatever imbalance I have will be corrected and I hope it helps me get pregnant.

The question I have is it okay to take bayberry and maca root together? I'm afraid that the bleeding will be the same like last time, so I plan on taking the bayberry to stop my uterus from bleeding, but I would hate for it to cancel out the maca root.
