Default Is this forum still alive?

I recently have been introduced to the secret and would love to be able to discuss it with others. I found it empowering and amazing.

Please do amaze me. I divorced 10 years ago. Raised my kids on my own. They are all grown now and i will be 50 in November. People tell me I am beautiful and don't look my age. Perhaps they are just being kind but no man looks twice at me now. Perhaps I need to do something with my hair, make-up, clothes (most are at least 10 years old) (I have bought nothing sexy or new and now opt for granny dresses and sweats). Perhaps I need to shed a few pounds. When I was younger and walked down a street and men stared or whistled it did not make me mad but made me feel good. All that has stopped but I admit I rarely leave the home now unless it is a quick errand or grocery store run.

Oh to get back that feeling..........CC

Yes we are alive and yes the law of attraction does work . It has more to do with our conectivity and outlook on life rather than trying to satisfy our ego's though.

Did you see Oprah yesterday? I hadn't heard of the Secret before then. But it really resonated for me. I've always had a theory about material goods. When there is something that I want, if I can wait, it will come into my life. And it works. We bought a 95 year old house five years ago. The kitchen had no cabinetry. I really didn't want to have a kitchen that looked like everyone else's. Especially in such an old house. So I started looking online. Sure enough, within a few months I found these gorgeous old apothecary cabinets at a local auction house. And I got them for much less than new cabinets. Everyone who comes in my kitchen goes nuts over them.

I'm trying to expand this thinking into the rest of my life. My husband and I are in the process of building a parenting website. I used to think "If it's successful..." No! Now I'm thinking, "When we have 100,000 users..."

That's probably more than you wanted to know. LOL.
