What is your favorite thing....
About this age? For me I would have to say how he lays his head on my shoulder. I absolutely love that. That is how he shows me his love. He will curl up and lay his head on my shoulder for a minute or two and then he is off again. It is soooo sweet.

Re: What is your favorite thing....
She just started with kisses, and it is only for us (Sean, Mary Elizabeth, Grandma and Grandpa, and me). She also shakes her head no in front of strangers. It is cute!!

Re: What is your favorite thing....
My favorite part is her playing with her brothers. She totally rough houses with them.
Spencer will be sitting in a chair and she'll scream to get up. He'll pull her up and then she tries to push him off. She already has the queen of the mountain down.

Re: What is your favorite thing....
Chris, Chase does that, too. It melts me! I was thinking that he was saying he was tired, but now I realize he is just taking a second to show some affection to me and DH. I love it! He's been doing that for about a week or more.
I also love all of the jabbering. He is so passionate sometimes about what he is saying. I can't make out a single word, but his eyebrows will be furrowed and he will just be going to town.

Re: What is your favorite thing....
Mine are spin-offs of what have already been said.....Jaymin has been laying his head on our shoulders too....so precious, and I soak it up because DS1 was never that way until recently.
The other is kinda like what Stacey said, like, he knows what he's trying to say very matter of fact-like. And now, when he's up from a nap, instead of crying to get our attention, he just stands at the corner of his crib and calls out to us....not like, with our names yet or anything, but he just yells out.... "AHHH!.....AHHH!....AHHH!", until we show up. I much prefer that to crying!
Also, Jaymin is just now letting himself go in the giggle department. He's never been a very giggly baby, and it still takes rigorous tickling to make him laugh outloud, but he's finally doing that gut belly laugh now. Pure joy!

Re: What is your favorite thing....
I love how Caleb interacts with his brothers now, mostly Derek. The have turned into 2 peas in a pod. they play together all day long, and then some. I love when I call his name, he acknowledges me. When I tell him its time for bed, he bolts away from me laughing to make a game of it. I love that he eats at the table with us and is just another person in this house, he is no longer a little baby who has special needs (formula, baby food, frequent naps, you get the idea).
I am loving that when its time to go I grab the backpack, tell him we're leaving and he walks to the door to wait for me

Re: What is your favorite thing....
Goodness, I LOVE everything about this age! Kate has become so vocal that it is great. We can understand most of what she wants and needs and she is so wiling to repeat everything we say to her. I also love how she understands me. She can get me things (she just brought me a diaper) and can tell me when she's ready for a nap. She's super huggy and kissy lately and gets so excited to see Matt that she screams Dadd-ee at the top of her lungs (which makes him beam for hours!). She's also really good at playing by herself and has become very nurturing. We gave her a doll to play with and she discovered ways to "feed" it without us showing her how. I could go on and on all day long about how much I love this age! I never said that about any other age, either. I am curious to see if I will like the 0-12 month age better this next time around...
