Im kicking myself right now.

As you know I borrowed my moms mini-laptop (it weighs 1.5 lbs) while I was stuck off of this one. It has Wifi which worked great, I just tapped into our system. Friday something happened to the modem, some horrible glitch causing me to reboot the modem and wireless router. Not a big deal but everytime I do this it screws up everything. Right now we cant use the wireless part, it only recognizes the modem, pretty much bypassing the router all together. My neighbor always has to help me reboot and we dont have time to do it before my mom comes to get the comp. She was going to come tomorrow and i convinced her not to b/c dh is sick (if she gets it she will be off work for WEEKS) so she isnt coming. she is now planing to come on Friday or Saturday.

The PS3 and Wii cant access online right now, not a big deal. The big deal is that I have SK in my moms favorites with my log in info SAVED. I have my yahoo groups in there, saved, i have it logged into my yahoo email.

And with the wireless part of the modem/router not working i cant get in there to log out of everything (my plan was to do this before she comes up). I had considered clearing her cookies but then remembered that she asked me NOT to b/c of her work stuff (she has to reset her p/w at work everytime she clears the cookies which is just a nightmare for her).

DARN DARN DARN!!!!

I cant find any other wireless connections around here. My neighbors wireless was on the fritz too otherwise id go over there and do it.

Maybe you could change your passwords for those sites? That should prompt you to reenter them on the laptop if someone visits those sites I would think.

Can't you just plug the wire for the internet into the laptop? When we lived in the apartment, Aaron used to steal the internet from me when the wireless wasn't working. He would unplug my wire and then plug in one he bought for his laptop that would stretch across the room from my computer to his chair (and you remember how that was set up).

OMG tracy, i love the mud pic. you are so right, that will make some GREAT Scrap pages....of which we need to do a scrap weekend at the end of the summer. Bring Megan, Im sure we'd get alot done. we can just borrow baby stuff from across the street. SERIOUSLY!!! Its been too long.


the going to starbucks sounds great but remember, I CANT DRIVE. if i cant find a way to plug it in like Tracy suggested i think im gonna go across the street and tap into hers. Everyone around here is wireless but we are all passworded so no one can tap in without the info. we tapped into hers from here the first time but the connection wasnt solid enough to do anything.

Okay try this, can you plug into the computer directly from the modem?
When my wireless wasn't working that is what I did.
Sorry if someone already said that, I cannot remember 30 seconds ago today.
