My sister Amber called me from her work. She was on the third floor. So she
says it looks like a wall cloud coming right for us. Plus close to Valley city a Tornado
hit down and it is come start at us at 55miles per hour.

So I went out to take one picture and get down my hanging plants. Man as Charles
and I were getting down the plants it went a light breeze to strong winds then sirens.
So off to the basement we went. I was so glad that Amber called. Because we were able
to get the girls blankets for them. It is there comfort items.



Went downstairs and listened to the radio. Then lights out. It finally past really fast. Went
outside and say the most beautiful rainbow. Riane was so excited it was her first rainbow
that she remembers see. She starts jumping up and down and saying I love rainbows. Thenwe heard a thunder and she looks at me and says I want to go downstairs. I assured her she was ok and we will go inside. The best part was there were two rainbows. So look close at the picture.



Later we heard that it went Thur Fargo at 70miles per hour. We has some branches down but notmuch. We were luck. They are not sure if a toronto has gone Thur South Fargo since we have last heard. We got power back at 9:18pm. Which was nice because we were told not till around 1am.

So that was our night. I was just glad we were home because I had called my Mom early to see if she could watch the girls. It would have been so much more worse if we had not been home for all of us.

So we are fine and glad to have little damage at all. We did get a chance to meet a new neighbor that moved in last year. He has a 6yr old boy. Charles told him if he ever sees Riane outside he is welcome to come over and play.

Today when I got up it is so beautiful out.

glad riane saw the rainbow, i love them. i remember asking my daed to chase one when i was 6-7.

I have a friend her hubby chases storms. I have thought about going with him sometime and getting some get pictures. Today when we were outside Riane was asking me where is the rainbow. I tryed to explain it to her. It is hard to explain to a 4 yr old so that they get the concept.

Yes strom clouds are very beautiful. Today we drove around a bit. I wish I had remeber my camera. There were some big tree branches around.

I'm glad that everyone is okay. The pictures you took are beautiful, especially the one of the double rainbow. I can't believe it came out so clearly. It's also great that you got to meet your neighbor and that Riane may have a new friend.
